ArcheAge Important Announcement on Auction House Merger

A new development was taken to the global ArcheAge economy after the April's update: Auction House merges! Here is the details about the change.

The Definition of an Auction House Merge

The Auction House is actually spans multiple servers. For example, this allows players on Ollo to sell items to players on Tahyang, Salphira, and Kraken. This way, the economy is sustained by multiple servers producing goods and multiple servers consuming them.

The archeage team will combine Auction House server clusters in order to expand the amount of sales that can happen on a single server group during an Auction House Merge. In this specific case, Rangora and Morpheus, which had been operating alone on separate Auction Houses due to their fresh start status, are merging with the other server groups. These servers are now in a place where their economies will benefit from joining the clusters available on the other servers as they have sufficiently caught up in pricing to the main clusters.

The Archeage team has announced that their server technology can now handle all European servers tied together into a single Auction House server cluster in Europe. In their region, the entire European ArcheAge economy will now be able to trade freely with every other server.

The change's infulence on Players

For most of the players, it means that the posting of new auctions on the auction house will be temporarily stopped for a limited amount of time.

In order to let all posted auctions expire naturally, this block will last for 49 hours, leaving the Auction House blank at the time we begin our work. While you will not be able to post new auctions during this block, you will still be able to purchase items from the Auction House – make sure to stock up! Should your auction not sell, it will be returned to you in the mail as normal after it expires.

All European servers will be blocked from posting new auctions starting on April 17 at 2:00 AM UTC / 4:00 AM CEST.

The following North American servers will be blocked from posting new auctions starting on April 18 at 7:00 AM PDT / 10:00 AM EDT:

North America: Ollo, Tahyang, Salphira, Kraken, and Morpheus

Once this merger is complete, the Auction House clusters will be as follows:

North America 1: Aranzeb, Kyrios, Nazar, and Hanure

North America 2: Ollo, Tahyang, Salphira, Kraken, and Morpheus

Europe: All servers will be able to trade with one another via the Auction House
